**What the role is**
• *What you will be working on**
- Lead design research (40%) - Define what good research looks like, and role-model curiosity, empathy, and openness. - Work closely with the delivery lead and stakeholders to understand broader project goals and align quarterly targets for research outcomes. - Lead exploratory research with and without stakeholders to deepen understanding of user needs and inform product opportunities, from planning and identifying suitable methodologies to synthesis and presenting. - Be the champion of end-user needs, advocating for evidence-based decision-making when prioritising opportunities for Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs). - Lead the testing of PoCs for desirability and viability in its use-case environments.
Level up stakeholders (50%) - Be the go-to person for design thinking and design research expertise to a rotating set of 10-20 stakeholders (educators and education technologists). - Lead the design and facilitation of masterclasses (and... other suitable activities) to grow their design thinking knowledge and abilities. - Mentor stakeholders in planning, designing, synthesising, and reporting research through the studies that you lead.
Collaborate with your team (10%) - Join your team in translating insights into workable PoCs, such as feature ideation, prototyping, and design critiques. - Cross-share knowledge with our second public education team to build a deeper understanding of Singapore’s education landscape.
