Who is the right candidate?

As Salience grows the number and complexity of contracts under execution becomes greater and we now require a Presales Admin Assistant to join our dynamic presales team and support the sales function within Salience. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the presales process. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and has a keen interest in supporting sales and business development activities.

Main responsibilities:

Document Formatting and Management:

Format proposals, (EOIs, RFIs, RFQs and RFPs) presentations, CVs and other presales documents for new projects in telecom infrastructure, regulatory, tower infrastructure, subsea cables, digital assessment, digital transformation, and other telecom fields, for clients such as The World Bank, EBRD, telecom regulators, government ministries, telecom operators and investors in the Middle East, Africa... and Europe.

Maintain a consistent and professional appearance for all outgoing documents.

Template and Document Improvement:

Review and improve existing templates to enhance clarity, consistency, and visual appeal in close coordination with the manager.

Develop new templates to streamline the document creation process and ensure all presales documents adhere to best practices.

Archiving and Document Control:

Organize and archive presales documentation for easy retrieval and reference.

Implement and manage document control procedures to ensure that all documents are current and properly stored.

ERP Database Maintenance:

Update and maintain the ERP database with accurate and up-to-date information.

Ensure all relevant presales data is entered into the ERP system promptly and accurately.

Administrative Support:

Provide general administrative assistance to the presales team, including scheduling meetings, coordinating logistics, and managing communication.

Assist in the preparation and coordination of presales activities and events

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with experts, sales team, and other departments to support ongoing projects and initiatives.

Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment and understanding of presales processes and requirements.

Requirements:
• Previous experience in an administrative role or support position in an international company is beneficial
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. A relevant MSc degree or MBA is a plus.
• Knowledge and/or experience in management consulting or the telecom industry is not essential but preferred.
• Willingness to learn and develop, expanding skillset to include project management and/or telecom technical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and data entry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
