Who are we recruiting for:

Our client is a worldwide leader in the design, manufacture and supply of engineering plastic solutions, with a global brand presence and 9 worldwide locations.

What will you be doing:

-You will have overall responsibility for the sales of Nylacast solutions into the global O&G Subsea Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines (SURF) industry, with the backing of the Engineering, Design and Operational teams.

-· Develop, manage and maintain the sales business plan for the sector.

· Take overall commercial responsibility for new order awards and contractual negotiations liaising with support functions such as Legal as and when required.

· Identify new opportunities within sector – customers, applications / products & markets

· Keep up to date with market trends: including economical, technological advancement, client and competitor strategies (worldwide).

· Develops long term business relationships with existing and prospective... customers.

· Meet sales targets / performance measures – Sales / NBD / New Applications / New Customers.

· Follow-up customer enquiries & leads in a professional timely manner.

· Document & maintain all customer / client databases / files.

· Create, develop and maintain a strong client network through calls, virtual and face to face meetings.

· Hold a strong technical knowledge and be prepared to explain products & services to customer representatives, such as engineers, and technical authorities.

· Provides technical services to clients relating to use, operation, and maintenance of equipment

· Attend trade shows & exhibitions were required.

· Be prepared to travel within the UK and overseas to support the sector and the business Brief.

Are you the ideal candidate?

-Previous experience working for a client or manufacturer of O&G protection products is essential

· Proven Sales experience is essential particularly in business development.

· Engineering Background is essential/Manufacturing background/experience is desirable

· Excellent understanding of the O&G Sector is required.

· Excellent understanding of the routes to market with End Users and Tier 1 and 2 suppliers (ability to liaise with Procurement Managers/Directors, Engineering Managers/Directors to develop business relationships.
