Based at Whangarei Hospital, part time 0.8 FTE working 32 hours per week on a fixed Term basis until December 2024 The role: The purpose of this role is to assist in the provision of an effective Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service, working with established Occupational Health and Wellbeing standards of practice and service objectives, to meet the needs of the organisation. Primary functions include:To utilise specialist nursing knowledge and skills to provide patient focused care and coordination within a multi-disciplinary setting.To provide expert clinical advice, information and education to patients, families/ Whanau and staff.To lead quality improvement initiatives within the unit/department. About you: To be eligible to apply you will be a New Zealand Registered Nurse with a positive and enthusiastic... approach, well developed interpersonal skills and works to high standards and strives to achieve goals. Current annual practicing certificate with the Nursing Council of New ZealandLevel 3 or 4 Registered Nurse with 5 years' experience with Designated Senior Nurse PDRP or Expert PDRP (demonstrating clinical examples)Experience in working alongside a diverse team of people Occupational Health experience and/or post graduate qualification in Nursing and/or Occupational health and safety with strong interest in completing a post graduate qualification in Occupational Health & Safety is desirable.
