Oral Health Therapist & Dental Hygiene Therapists Opportunities:

We are seeking skilled and passionate Oral Health Therapist & Dental Hygiene Therapists to join our team in various regional locations in Australia. As a Dentist at Abano Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work in a modern and well-equipped dental practice, providing a wide range of dental services to patients.

Abano can provide 482 regional visas to International Oral Health Therapist... & Dental Hygiene Therapists who can secure unrestricted licensing with the Australian Dental Board on AHPRA. You will be required to work in a regional location in Australia which can include but not limited to:
• Queensland - Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Bundaberg, Roma, Toowoomba.
• New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory - South Coast NSW, Armidale, Bathurst, Coffs Harbour, Foster, Lismore and the Northern Rivers.
• Tasmania - Hobart, Invermay
• Victoria - Geelong
• South Australia - Adelaide, Clare Valley, Port Lincoln.
• Western Australia - Perth, Mandurah, Busselton

Key Responsibilities:
• Providing educational programs to motivate children, parents and the community in matters relating to oral health
• Providing fluoride therapy by applying remineralising solutions and desensitising agents
• Removing deposits from teeth
• Applying non-invasive fissure sealants to teeth
• Taking impressions of the mouth
• Taking dental radiographs
• Administering local anaesthesia by infiltration and mandibular nerve block
• Fabricating full and partial dentures
• Constructing mouth guards, crowns, metal clasps, inlays, bridgework and other aids
• Repairing and relining denture bases

• Bachelor of Dental Hygiene or Oral Health or equivalent qualification recognised by the Dental Board of Australia.
• Full registration with AHPRA.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
