Radio is a division of Nine and owns and operates top-rating news talk stations 2GB, 3AW, 4BC, 6PR and a music network 2UE, MAGIC & 4BH. The role of the Sales Executive - Radio is to work closely with the Group Business Manager with key tasks in achieving revenue targets for an assigned group of media agency's. You will be the primary day-to-day contact for our media planners/buyers and ultimately responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our advertising agencies and clients. Responsibilities include: Be committed to overachieving both your individual and the team's monthly revenue targets Present a minimum of 5 weekly pro-active ideas and strategies to generate new business Ensure key client/agency regular WIPs are conducted Present new Nine Radio product launches as they are released to market Create targeted advertising schedules across all channels based on briefs received from clients or advertising agencies Work closely with the Powered team to deliver new and relevant opportunities for brands Ensure delivery of post analysis reports to clients Facilitate the sale of program sponsorships, sports sponsorships and spot packages Qualifications This role offers an excellent progression in media (or supported by) working with some of Australia's leading media brands, as well as working in a rewarding fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate will have: Demonstrated 2 years experience within media sales Ability to present to agency groups and construct excellent proposals, schedules supporting responses to brief and proactive proposals Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines An appreciation of the market trading conditions and ability to negotiate trading discounts on casual business in conjunction with the Group Business Manager Strong numerical and analytical skills Intermediate Microsoft Word, Gmail, Excel, Power Point Additional Information Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: At Nine, we are committed to fostering a workforce that embraces all aspects of diversity and inclusion and where practices are equitable to ensure our people experience a sense of belonging.
