This role is a unique opportunity to join IDEMIA's APAC Sales team and be an active contributor to our exciting growth plan for the Payment Services Division!

The SALES MANAGER is the primary point of contact between IDEMIA and its clients & prospects (major local... and international Banks, cool Payment Fintechs, Crypto exchanges and more) helping them getting access to IDEMIA’s expertise, market leading payment products, and digital payment technologies. The SALES MANAGER role will be based in Vietnam and has 2 main components:
• VLC (50%-60%): To cover primarily the area of exponential growth in VLC (Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia) alongside the Vietnam Sales Director
• APAC (40%-50%): APAC coverage for specific advance offers to uncover new opportunities in the region and support the Head of Growth in regional sales strategic initiatives roll out and execution.

As this is primarily a hunter role, the SALES MANAGER will be in charge of mapping and navigating the Banking, Payment and tech ecosystem across the designated markets in order to skillfully create a strong sales pipeline and achieve a sales target while growing IDEMIA’s and its own profile in the payment space. The responsibility will range from prospecting and identifying new opportunities to qualifying them and close the deals. Further involvement in the delivery will be required to ensure the customer is getting what was sold and for further upselling and relationship management.

The SALES MANAGER is instrumental to the growth of IDEMIA and as such will be offered exciting responsibilities and targets that will be rewarded through a dedicated Sales Incentive Plan for growing the company’s business as well as generate new opportunities. Key Missions

• Builds a strong knowledge of the eco-system in the respective scope
• Define a go to market strategy
• Prospects and builds an opportunity pipeline through active monitoring of legislation, budgets and call for tenders
• Uses 'green field' strategy based on own network, LinkedIn or events
• Observes an existing account sales manager for advanced offers
• Builds channel partnership (formal or informal)
• Set up, prepare and Conduct commercial pitches
• Analyzes competition environment
• Acts as business expert and a reference for a product line in support of the account managers/Business Directors
• Coordinates internal customers to ensure deal feasibility and obtains necessary validation (technical offer and commercial offer)
• Handles tailored offer submission and iteration
• Closes deals and coordinating implementation
• Key point of contact on advance offer deals - Develop and maintain an outstanding relationship (internal and external)
• Arrange regular Deep Dive technical sessions on key topics to bring innovation to life within customer/prospects
• Adhere to corporate policies especially governing trade compliance and business conduct
• Responsible for achieving the agreed revenue and contribution targets
• Maintain a healthy and organized administrative relationship with the client (contracts, orders, payment, etc..)
• Maintain accurate Forecast of monthly Revenue generated by the client and update account and opportunity information into the CRM tool on a regular basis
• Prepare internal reporting on client performance
• Support the APAC Head of Growth in strategic initiatives

Order Management
• Manage order expectations, customer order status and complaint management.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and escalate, where appropriate.
• Comply with the use and integration of company standard tools and processes

Profile & Other Information

Regardless of background in Payment/Banking, we are seeking an individual with sales acumen, high energy and attitude alongside fast learning and understanding of technical products and solution. Experience and expertise in the payment/banking space or technology sales will of course be considered advantageous.
