Two part time roles available working 8.5 hours per week evening & weekend shifts providing reception & administration support at our onsite gym facilities.

Mō te tūka The role

Seeking applications for a friendly, people focused coordinator to welcome members, staff and visitors when entering Whare Hākinakina, Lincoln University Gym.

Situated at the front desk of our new gym facilities, you will be the first face you see as people enter the premises, and will be happy to assist with queries, signing on new members and the day to day running of the centre.

Some tasks of the role include :
• Process and follow up on membership enquiries.
• Financial administration support relating to memberships.
• Assist with marketing and promotion activities.
• Other general administrative tasks associated with running the centre.

Based at our Lincoln Campus, we have two roles available :

Role one :
• Monday : 6.00pm to 9.15pm
• Saturday : 6.45am to 12.00pm

Role two :
• Thursday : 6.00pm to... 9.15pm
• Sunday : 6.45am to 12.00pm

These are fixed hours each week, but you will have the flexibility to cover other shifts as required. Please specify in your cover letter which role you are applying for.

The remuneration range for this role is $53,486 per annum, pro rata to part time hours (approx. $27 / hr).

To be successful in this role you will need :
• Experience in reception or an administrative support position.
• Competence in cross-cultural communication and working with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience in using Microsoft Office.
• Accurate, methodical and focus for detail with numerical competence.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
