**About the Role**

Being based in Frankfurt or Hamburg, where your role seamlessly blends underwriting expertise with engaging client and broker interactions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. • *Key responsibilities**:

- Conducting underwriting for both new and existing clients, aligning with internal guidelines while prioritizing client satisfaction in close collaboration with an experienced Senior Underwriter.
- Managing and taking full accountability for assigned clients and transactions originating new business opportunities and processing attractive transactions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
- Analyzing and assessing underlying counterparty and transactional risks in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Approving transactions within own underwriting authority or preparing transaction referrals.
- Regularly... interacting with clients and brokers to gather relevant information ensuring diligent underwriting, exposure, and risk management.
- Supporting Senior Underwriters in executing and monitoring of complex bespoke transactions and managing key accounts.
- Identifying and monitoring underwriting trends market developments, and legal changes affecting credit and other structural risks.

• *About You**
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a bank, surety insurer, or reinsurer.
- University graduate or equivalent education.
- Profound understanding of credit risk and financial markets including debt financing.
- A self-confident personality with effective communication skills for engaging with clients, business partners and senior colleagues.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a team-orientated environment, adhering to strict deadlines.
- Eagerness to assume the described role with the potential for personal development and divisional success.
- German native speaker with proficient English skills (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel.
