General Description

The Risk Analyst role focuses on evaluating internal controls within the Information Technology Division. This entails identifying system weaknesses, devising action plans to address issues, and promoting best practices to prevent audit issues. The position involves participating in internal assessments, preparing reports for management, and understanding how different processes affect the overall IT environment and business operations. Collaboration and creating a positive IT... culture are essential aspects of this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Assess and manage risks and controls associated with IT processes.
• Offer guidance in documenting risks, control descriptions, and remediation plans.
• Conduct reviews of general and application controls in computer information systems.
• Ensure corrective actions are taken in response to audit and regulatory findings.
• Review and enhance internal control procedures for various systems.
• Present technical information effectively to management.
• Advise on operational issues related to information systems.
• Identify trends and recommend future actions.
• Build and leverage partnerships to achieve organizational goals.

Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Computer Science

• 2-3 years of experience in IT audits or IT risk management
• Knowledge of internal auditing, controls, risk management, and technology domains.

Certifications and Licenses
• CISA, CISM, or CISSP certifications are preferred.

Other Qualifications
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Understanding of internal control environments.
• Knowledge of information security standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with data analysis and MS Office.
