Position Overview
The Alliance is looking for a Visiting Researcher to join the Performance, Innovation & Strategic Analysis for Impact (PISA4Impact) team. This role involves collaborating on research related to sustainable agricultural practices within the CGIAR Initiative on Agroecology, a transdisciplinary approach focused on enhancing food system resilience, equity, and sustainability through action-oriented strategies. The primary task is to analyze household survey data from various datasets.

The agroecological practices characterization survey gathers quantitative data from 850 farmers in Peru's Ucayali region, particularly from the Padre Abad and Coronell Portillo districts. This survey provides detailed insights into agroecological practices at the plot level along with socioeconomic characteristics.

Responsibilities
- **Manage, clean, and harmonize variables from diverse datasets for the analysis of agricultural practices and their degree of... agroecologiness.
- Prepare data cleaning and analysis reports.
- Contribute to a peer-reviewed publication presenting the analysis results.
- Collaborate with other researchers from the PISA4Impact team, bringing multidisciplinary perspectives.
- Work on-site at the regional offices in Palmira.

- Proficient in data management, cleaning, and harmonization.
- Fluent in Spanish with good written English skills.
- Capable of effectively writing reports and scientific publications.

The position will be based at the regional offices in Palmira, Colombia. The selected researcher will collaborate remotely with a diverse group of scientists. The contract starts upon finding a suitable candidate and runs for five months, with an initial three-month evaluation period.
