Job Title: Civil/Structural Engineer - Defence Infrastructure

Location: Glasgow (Hybrid Role: 2 days/month in-office)

β€’ πŸ“’ Presentations: Communicate design justifications effectively to safety committees.
β€’ πŸ› οΈ Maintenance Schedules: Develop and maintain schedules for Examination, Inspection, Maintenance, and Testing.
β€’ 🧠 Technical Advisory: Provide expert technical advice to stakeholders.
β€’ πŸ” Independent Reviews: Conduct reviews to ensure compliance and integrity.

Qualifications

Profile:

Essential:
β€’ πŸ“œ HNC in Civil Engineering
β€’ πŸ›‘οΈ Basic health and safety training

Desirable:
β€’ πŸŽ“ Chartered Engineer status
β€’ πŸ“š Training in nuclear safety case development

Experience:
β€’ πŸ—οΈ Civil/Structural Engineering: Preferably within the UK nuclear industry.
β€’ πŸŒ‰ Structural Design: Proficient in designing and assessing industrial and maritime structures.
β€’ πŸ“ Codes and Standards: Knowledgeable in relevant codes and standards.
β€’ πŸ’» Software Skills: Proficient in relevant design software and IT tools.
