The position:

Reporting to the Senior Director Global Brand Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing and executing the marketing strategy & activities for Jyseleca, in the treatment of Ulcerative Colitis. You will serve as the lead point of contact with the affiliates/regions and cross-functional team for strategy & execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Driver the Jyseleca indication strategy at international level including positioning, channel optimization, tactics with core message, story flow, branding and associated campaigns.
• Represent Alfasigma in commercial/marketing interactions with external stakeholders ensuring International needs are considered.
• Lead cross functional Core Brand Team (Marketing, Market... Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial Excellence and Affiliate) and guide & support affiliate marketing colleagues to embed and execute Jyseleca strategy.
• Support Jyseleca forecasting of sales in co-ordination with Commercial Operations & with country BUDs/GMs and consistently monitor brand budget, expenses, dynamics and performance to maneuver marketing mix levers to enhance growth.
• Build strong brand belief across all functions & into affiliates & ensure internal communications carry this through.
• Exercise influence on the dedicated market insight and analytic team by validating the customer insight & competitive intelligence plans and fully own the forecasting assumptions that will feed the forecasting exercise.
• Lead the development and tactical roll-out of international congresses.
• Lead working relationship with creative agencies and supporting 3rd party commercial vendors.
• Monitor and communicate the performance of the indication in major markets (EU5) by defining the KPI’s of the brand indication, identifying opportunities & challenges and develop action plans to address in a timely manner.


You are a passionate and engaging leader who's proficient in leading matrix and cross-functional teams. You seamlessly translate strategy into action, inspiring and leading others to communicate and act with a clear vision and purpose. You are also able to connect different perspectives, drive co-creation and execution of strategies across affiliates.

Qualifications & Experience:
• University degree in Science and/or degree in Business (advanced degree is preferred).
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry in a diversity of roles, with a consistent track record of delivering results, while working in a matrix environment.
• Multi-country level brand management experience is required.
• Superb people management or matrix team leadership.
• Deep knowledge of immunology therapeutic area or analogous therapeutic areas i.e., oncology, rare disease is a plus.
• Proven ability to take the lead on projects and drive them to successful completion.
• Excellent spoken and written English. Other language abilities are a plus.
• Travel Requirements: International travel is required for about 10-20%.
