Summary of the Role:

The Account Manager reports directly to Sales Vice President within BPS organization in AMEA. He/She is responsible for banking and payment business (BPS) in Thailand for Thales Digital and Identity Security (DIS) Global Business Unit (GBU). BPS customers are in financial institutions, local embedders, neobank/ fintechs and retail industry segments. The Sales/ Account Manager act as customer advocate and work with internal teams to ensure that client needs are understood and fulfilled. The Account Manager is in charge of winning new sales, oversight execution and delivery of Thales goods and services, handle complaints, collecting and analysing data and improving the overall customer experience.

Key figures:
• Manage both direct and indirect customers, with annual revenue > 3M euro.
• Individual contributor
• Strong interpersonal skill to work with matrix team structure in multiple geographical areas such as France, Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Main Responsibilities

Build and expand trust relationship with existing accounts to ensure correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
• Identify, develop and win new sales opportunities, acquire thorough understanding of customer needs by proposing all BPS offer that meet their objectives.
• Manage complete and complex sales-cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
• Serve as the link of communication between customers and internal teams.
• Expand current contract with new services / new use cases.
• Maintain the customer satisfaction level to ensure successful contract renewals.
• Conduct regular account plan and develop strategic long-term relationship with key customers.

Qualifications
• Proven experience as sales/ account manager in banking and payment industry
• Background in the payment processing industry with min. 5 (five) year experience as account management on payment processing segment, and/or digital payment transaction domain
• An existing knowledge of the payment eco-system and stakeholders in Thailand is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability in building relationships with professionals of all organization levels
• Excellent organization skills
• Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
• Bachelor's in business administration, Sales or Marketing field
• Have a good understanding of technically complex products/services.
• Willingness to be involved in detail to ensure customer satisfaction..
• Sound commercial knowledge, including oral and written presentation, risk management, legal contracts, price negotiation, strategic sales and marketing planning and other topics, distinct customer understanding and the ability to close complex negotiations.
• Fluent in written and spoken English language mandatory.
