art'otel Rome Piazza Sallustio, is coming to Rome summer 2024 and will be opening the doors of an iconic destination restaurant, bringing a social dining experience to the heart of the Italian capital.

The Role You Play:

Your approach to the job will be inspired by your authentic style and self - always ready with care... and attention, a bright idea, a recommendation that only you could give.

You'll know exactly who needs what and when, you'll remember their names and you'll use your creativity and expertise to deliver a fantastic dining experience every time.
In your role as R&B Manager, you'll discuss and agree some key objectives with your line manager. These objectives are designed to support your department's goals and priorities.

You'll also take responsibility for your own development, embracing training opportunities that we offer, while learning from any challenges and mistakes along the way.

How You DoIt:

You'll be in charge of all the overall strategic planning, development and success of our brilliant restaurant and bar, working closely with our general manager.

You'll make sure we're taking all the necessary and approved actions to achieve our restaurant and bars short- and long-term goals and objectives.

You'll work closely with managers and our reception team to make sure that restaurant covers are maximised across each service.

You'll be busy building guest loyalty and making sure that everyone in the front of house team is aware of regulars and VIPs, providing a beautifully personalised and engaging service, all day every day.
You'll manage all R&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted, ensuring service quality is constantly delivered to highest standards. You'll commercially drive restaurant and bar performances to maximise revenues and opportunities, delivering profitability with effective cost control. Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service. Design exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements. Identify customers' needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns. Lead R&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel. Establish targets, KPI's, schedules, policies and procedures. Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork. Comply with all health and safety regulations. You'll take your cues from the guidance and instructions given by your leadership team. You'll also be backed up by PPHE's standard operating procedures.

What You Bring:

You're a great communicator, making sure there's effective communication between back of house and front of house, all with the goal of smooth service that goes above and beyond.
You have the highest standards of service, making sure we're consistently going above and beyond for our guests.

You're up to date on all our Company policies and procedures throughout the restaurant, including health and safety and food safety, and you're always checking to make sure we comply.
You're an expert at making sure guest complaints are handled brilliantly at the time, so they don't get escalated.
