We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our team. The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations. They will analyse financial data, prepare financial reports, and provide recommendations to management. Job Overview and key duties:
• Responsible for monthly general ledger processing, and preparation of monthly accounts for corporate/ Head-office entities to strict reporting deadlines in accordance with IFRS and corporate accounting policies.
• Preparation of balance sheet analysis and reconciliations including bank, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets.
• Preparation of quarterly forecast for Head -office entities
• Preparation of individual financial statements for Group entities to meet filing deadlines
• Responsible for intercompany recharge process.
• Assist with bi-weekly cash flow forecasting for corporate entities.
• Preparation of local statutory reports for EMEA subsidiaries for review in compliance with local regulatory requirements.
• Assist with implementation of appropriate internal controls and procedures and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
• Liaising with auditors and advisors on tax and audit issues as needed.
• Responsible for monthly loan submission to bank;
• Involvement in accounts payable process.
• Assistance with day-to-day finance activities for corporate entities, as well as ad-hoc projects for the Group.

Essential experience and skills:
• Recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA).
• 3 to 5 years’ experience (1-2 years post qualified experience).
• Advanced Excel skills: system experience an advantage.
• Strong technical accounting experience
• A demonstrated ability to take ownership for tasks and responsibilities
