Responsibilities • Manage all import and export activities, including customs clearance, freight forwarding, documentation, and liaising with regulatory bodies. • Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to optimize import, export, and cross-trade processes. • Negotiate and secure competitive rates with... shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers. • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all import and export documentation, adhering to UAE regulations and international trade compliance standards. • Track shipments, monitor inventory levels, and manage warehouse operations (if applicable). • Analyse logistics data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement. • Identify and manage potential risks associated with international trade, including customs delays and disruptions. • Build strong relationships with suppliers, customs officials, and other stakeholders in the logistics industry. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field (preferred). • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a logistics management role, preferably within the import/export industry. • Proven experience in handling all aspects of import and export documentation. • In-depth knowledge of UAE and UK import/export regulations and customs procedures. • Strong understanding of international trade practices and incoterms. • Excellent negotiation and communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
