Role Summary:

The Senior L&D Officer will assume a leadership role in designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive learning and development programs within the organization. Their expertise will be pivotal in identifying training needs, creating strategic development initiatives, and ensuring the continuous improvement of the workforce. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders, leveraging advanced instructional design techniques, and utilizing the latest learning technologies to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify training and development needs through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with managers.

• Collaborate with managers and department heads to understand specific skill gaps and performance issues.

• Create and design training programs that address... identified needs.

• Develop instructional materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources.

• Incorporating various training methods, such as e-learning, workshops, on-the-job training, and mentorship programs.

• Coordinate and deliver training sessions to employees.

• Schedule and organize training events, workshops, and seminars.

• Utilize various instructional techniques to engage participants and facilitate learning.

• Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, evaluations, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Make adjustments and improvements to training initiatives based on evaluation results.

• Stay updated on the latest learning technologies and incorporate them into training programs.

• Manage and administer learning management systems (LMS) or other training platforms.

• Collaborate with different departments to ensure training programs align with organizational goals.

• Communicate with employees to promote and encourage participation in training activities.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in learning and development.

• Participate in professional development activities to enhance personal and organizational effectiveness.

• Develop and update training content to reflect changes in policies and procedures.

• Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and participant performance.

• Generate reports on the effectiveness of training programs for management and stakeholders.

• Participate in the development and implementation of human resource policies.

• Assist in the talent acquisition and recruitment processes.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or Business Management.

• 3-5 years of experience as L&D Specialist.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and cultural awareness.

• Organizational and planning skills to manage time and meet deadlines and objectives.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, mainly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Excellent presentation and training facilitation skills
