I am recruiting on behalf of a global leader in the financial industry.

This is a very unique opportunity for a forward-thinking self-starter who will become a key figure in helping drive new customer acquisition.

The Marketing Manager will be at the forefront of our marketing efforts, ensuring their alignment with our business objectives. This role involves a blend of strategic planning, hands-on campaign management, content oversight, and collaboration with internal and external partners.

The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial/hands-on mindset alongside a deep understanding of digital marketing, PR, offline marketing, content production, and data analysis, coupled with a passion for continuously optimising performance and a desire to keep learning.

The role is fully remote and full-time with flexible working hours. Please also note that this position is self-employed outside of IR35. Whilst it is self-employed you will still be entitled to paid... annual leave and expenses will be covered for company wide meetings a couple of times a year.


• Plan, develop, and implement a long-term content strategy to cover our on-site blog, YouTube as well as gaining coverage on external websites and blogs relevant to our niche.
• Build and manage the content team, both internal and external (authors, translators, video creators, graphic designers).
• Prepare, optimise, and publish content on our website and social media channels to generate website traffic as well as press coverage.
• Monitor trends (incl. news, user searches) in the sector and work closely with the content team to create engaging content around trending topics.
• Ensure that all content is delivered on-time and respects best practices, values, tone, and style.

Digital Marketing
• Manage the website (including external developers), social media channels (X, YouTube, LinkedIn) and marketing materials to ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and customer touch points.
• Manage, track, and analyse e-mail campaigns through our CRM.
• Improve website customer journey and enhance CRO to improve on-site form submission from prospective clients.
• Manage press relations from the creation to coverage outreach.
• Implement a comprehensive on-site and off-site SEO strategy.

• Expand our offline marketing efforts by looking for new opportunities to gain coverage for our brand and reach new prospective clients.
• Look for new press coverage opportunities within our industry.
• Maximise business opportunities and grow overall revenue.

• Strong proven commercial awareness and background with a focus client acquisition and revenue growth.
• Exceptional skills in strategic planning, implementation, and business development.
• Proven experience across both online and offline digital marketing
• Solid understanding of marketing strategy, performance marketing and customer acquisitions.
• Familiarity with SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and others.
• Working knowledge of WordPress and CRMs would be beneficial.
• Previous experience in successfully managing external freelance staff and contractors.
• Extensive experience in reporting through GA4, Looker Studio, Jetpack.
• Previous experience with the financial industry would be a benefit
