Job Type: FTC (6 months)

Location: Hybrid. This role is based in either our Edinburgh office with time spent working in the office and at home.

Flexible working: All of our roles are open to part-time, job-share and other types of flexibility. We will discuss what is important to you and balancing this with business requirements during the recruitment process.

Salary and benefits: Up to £45,000 depending on experience plus 16% bonus up to 32%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more

We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a Marketing Manager to join our Customer marketing team within the Marketing function. This team is responsible for developing compelling and engaging marketing communications and campaigns, educating and engaging customers and building brand affinity.

The role

This role works across the wider business, using customer insight and behaviour and market insight to develop and optimise our campaign and always on comms activity.

Key Responsibilities

This role focuses on driving customers to take positive actions to help them to meet their retirement savings goals. Putting customers at the centre of all communications activity is essential – ensuring all communications feel like one seamless journey, and ensuring customers receive the right messages from us at the right time through the right channel.

Measurement is key to this role – building testing and optimisation into our campaign development process, along with testing content and responses from different audiences to develop our longer term strategy.

You’ll work with our Digital, Content and Proposition teams, as well as our internal studio and external agencies to create engaging communications across multi media channels, and you’ll manage the delivery of multi channel marketing activity.

What are we looking for?

• Direct to customer Marketing campaign development and management experience in either Pensions and/or Financial Services market
• Strong understanding of customer engagement drivers,
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across the organisation to drive agreement to plans and strategies.
• Demonstrable skills in cross-functional team working, as well as being a natural collaborator
• Proven ability to optimise processes to drive efficiency and improve customer experience
• Strong data and measurement experience, being able to interpret data and results to drive continuous improvement.

• We work in an Agile environment, so practical experience of Agile methodologies would be an advantage.
