This major book distributor in Canada is seeking their future IT Director, reporting to the CEO. Your mission will be to ensure the strategic and operational management of business processes, business partners, and company development. While overseeing the optimization of IT tools (software and hardware), you will be responsible for managing a team of 10 employees, primarily consisting of Programmer-Analysts and Analyst-Programmers, as well as a Business Analyst, a Network Administrator, and an IT Technician.

Tasks
• Designing and implementing a strategy for information systems that promotes the growth of the company.
• Assuming responsibility for information security, compliance, and risk management in the short, medium, and long term.
• Enhancing the efficiency of processes and the reliability of systems.
• Leading and prioritizing IT projects, encompassing software, internal tools, and infrastructure.
• Ensuring the quality of service provided to users in collaboration with your... team.
• Developing and presenting action plans to the Board of Directors.
• Developing and adhering to the annual IT budget.
• Establishing and maintaining a company security policy.
• Leading, training, and evaluating the performance of developer-analyst, infrastructure, and support teams.
• Facilitating team meetings using Scrum or other methods.
• Identifying opportunities for improvement in existing processes and proposing solutions.
• Establishing strategic partnerships with various departments within the company.
• Performing any other related tasks.

Job requirements
• At least five (5) years of project management and business analysis experience.
• At least two (2) years of experience managing a programming team.
• Bilingual in French and English, both oral and written.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite tools.
• Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, or other databases.
• Familiarity with private VM infrastructure, CISCO, Switch, and Wi-Fi.
• Experience in logistics/commercial AS400, WMS, WCS warehouse environments (an asset).
