Human Resources Advisor (DACH Region)

ASG International – Dusseldorf or Berlin, Germany (Hybrid)

• Job Title: Human Resources Advisor

• Location: Dussledorf or Berlin

• Salary: €48,000 - €53,000 per annum (gross)

• Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time German contract

• Type of Role: Hybrid (2/3 days in the office or client sites, with the option for much home-office if desired)

• Language Requirements: Fluency in German & English (Knowledge of other languages is a plus)

• Sector Interest: Digital Marketing & Retail Advertising

Job Description:

As the Human Resources Advisor, you will collaborate closely with senior-level management across multiple sites in Germany and the wider DACH region, (Switzerland and Austria). Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from providing relevant and up-to-date employment law advice and providing valuable insights on HR strategies and best practices to facilitate employee engagement. Your expertise will be crucial in leading on HR matters, ensuring alignment with different colleagues in different countries. You will play a pivotal role, acting as a trusted and approachable point of contact for managers and some clients, fostering a human-oriented and friendly environment. There will be some travel involved with the role, mainly between four German sites and the wider DACH region.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Exceptional communication skills in both German and English (Additional languages are advantageous).

• In-depth knowledge of German HR legislation and best practices.

• Extensive previous experience in HR Management, office management and problem solving.

• Familiarity with stakeholder management and working within an international minded organization.

• Interest or experience in the marketing, advertising or printing sector is a plus.

• An analytical mindset combined with a human-oriented and common- sense approach to tasks.


The company offers an attractive salary of €48,000 to €53,000 per annum, along with standard benefits.
