Our client is a forward-thinking agrochemical company. We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager for their growing team in Chile.


Job Responsibilities
• Devise and implement a dynamic sales strategy tailored to the Agriculture Division, strategically aligning with overarching company goals
• Accelerate revenue growth by relentlessly pursuing new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and cultivating enduring customer relationships through value-driven sales techniques
• Set ambitious sales targets, monitor performance metrics, and provide strategic guidance to the sales team to achieve and exceed goals
• Work with distributors closely and expand the distribution network
• Focused on sales, GP%, collections, and clear commercial strategy for the business unit
• Conduct comprehensive market analyses to stay ahead of industry trends, anticipate market dynamics, and proactively identify areas for growth and development
• Analyze customer needs and... feedback to adapt product offerings dynamically, ensuring they are finely tuned to meet and exceed market demands
• Utilize market intelligence to provide the sales team with actionable insights and strategies for effective customer engagement
• Lead by example, motivating and developing a high-performance sales team through hands-on coaching and support to maximize individual and collective sales potential
• Instill a collaborative, results-oriented culture within the sales team, fostering healthy competition and driving continuous improvement
• Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team's product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer relationship management skills
• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the agriculture industry, including distributors, retailers, and agribusinesses
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement joint initiatives that amplify product visibility and drive sales growth
• Negotiate and manage partnership agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties involved
• Develop and maintain robust relationships with key customers, proactively addressing their needs and ensuring unparalleled customer satisfaction
• Leverage technical and product expertise to provide value-added solutions to customers, positioning our biostimulants, fertilizers, and pesticides as indispensable assets
• Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve product offerings and service delivery
• Proactively follow up with clients, agents, and distributors to ensure consistent sales and explore opportunities for upselling
• Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, providing regular updates to senior management
• Prepare comprehensive sales reports and analyses, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
• Utilize data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and optimize resource allocation
• Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the sales budget for the Agriculture Division
• Monitor and control expenses to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints while maximizing sales impact

Candidate Requirements
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Agriculture, Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets, preferably in the agricultural or biotechnology industry
• In-depth understanding of agricultural technologies, trends, and market dynamics
• Proven experience in negotiating complex agreements with clients, suppliers, and partners
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective commercial strategies that align with organizational goals
• Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities associated with operating in diverse international markets
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate challenges and make informed decisions under pressure
