Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and resourceful professional to lead our Capital Market department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a significant track record of identifying, creating and managing investment opportunities. A strong sense of... solution and customer service essential,

The role requires an understanding of industry and market trends, building key client relationships, increasing market reach and visibility and leading the team to the next level.

Your main responsibilities will include
• Business development:
• Lead and oversee all aspects of real estate capital markets activities in Belgium.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve financial targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and key stakeholders.
• Build leads through networking with clients and potential investors.
• Team Lead
• Manage a team of professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide comprehensive real estate solution to clients.
• Initiate and implement new developments/methodologies/techniques pertaining to business.
• Expertise and execution
• Negotiate and close complex real estate transactions, ensuring favourable outcomes for clients.
• Stay abreast of market trends, regulations, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies as they relate to identifying and mitigating potential conflicts of interest.

Qualifications
• Education : relevant Academic degree (economic, finance, management, …)
• Experience and Real Estate Market Expertise: 8+ years of industry experience and a deep understanding of the Belgian real estate market.
• Networking and Interpersonal Skills: ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and stakeholders.
• Commercial skill : tenacity and drive to seek new business.
• Negotiation Skills: able to negotiate effectively in complex deals.
• Financial Analysis: a thorough understanding of the financial aspects of real estate transactions, including financial analysis, investment valuation, and deal structuring.
• Teamwork: Genuine enthusiasm for leading by example and collaborating with Colliers' leadership team
