The Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) function has an important role to play in helping to achieve EY’s ambition to create long-term value as the world’s most trusted, distinctive professional services organization. We work hand in hand with the business to take services and solutions to market; bring our purpose, building a better working world, to life for our people, clients and communities; engage our people and build a high performing culture; and to build the commercial value and emotional resonance of the EY brand.

Through the collective power of BMC, and the other teams and specialists we work with, we aim to build a... better working world by driving commercial value through distinctive marketing and communications that deliver measurable market impact.

BMC also includes a number of teams who are responsible for content development, editorial, webcasts, events-staging, strategy, planning and operations. Through the collective power of BMC, and the other teams and specialists we work with, we aim to build a better working world by driving commercial value through distinctive marketing and communications that deliver measurable market impact.

The opportunity

EY in Asia-Pacific (APAC) has been leading revenue growth at EY for several years and going from strength to strength. The Asia-Pacific Area is high-growth, innovative, culturally rich and diverse, and consists of six Regions including: ASEAN, Greater China, Japan, Korea, Oceania, and the Asia-Pacific Financial Services Organization.

EY has a bold vision for its future, and we are focused on engaging with EY clients, people, partners and other stakeholders to bring them along our journey. As part of this, the APAC Managing Partner is looking to take the APAC strategy to the next level, and drive meaningful change while delivering outstanding business results and leadership in the marketplace.

The APAC Communications and Engagement (CE) Leader has a pivotal role in setting the strategic direction of communication and engagement to drive this change agenda, enabling our leaders and our people across APAC to deliver our business transformation. It will enable the business to execute on EY’s strategic priorities, equipping our people with the information they need, inspiring and engaging them to drive the execution of our strategic priorities and deliver profitable growth.

The role also has a strong commercial focus, supporting the delivery of exceptional client service and go-to-market programs in an environment where profitable business growth and brand value is built from the inside out through the enablement of our partners and our people. The APAC CE leader has the opportunity to not only help embed the wider business strategy, but also help drive results in the marketplace through internal engagement and delivery of integrated, go-to-market programs and initiatives.

As a senior communicator in the overall BMC CE pillar, you will be expected to work closely with your peers to co-create and align behind our overall CE strategic direction and global planning. You’ll help to ensure consistency in how we deliver audience-centric, data-driven communications across EY, as part of our CE Transformation ambitions.

The role dual reports to the APAC Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) Enablement and Deployment Leader and the Global Communications and Engagement Leader.

• Support the management and deployment of annual APAC executive events and key leadership meetings throughout the year and support pre-and-post communications
• Play a key role in supporting client services through internal engagement of EY people to ensure transfer of knowledge, information, and tools in support of business growth drivers as part of integrated, go-to-market campaigns and leadership communications
