Description & Requirements

About the Position

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of our offices by responding to users' needs (The Shard in London being the main one, as well as our smaller offices in Stockholm, Dublin and Wigan).

In brief, you will:
• Direct, coordinate, and plan essential services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling (including keeping on top of contracts for these and looking after the contracted teams on site).
• Ensure buildings meet health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation.
• Keep staff safe (including ensure enough trained first aiders are on site).
• Manage the relationship with The Shard (our main office) and support the teams based in... the Nordics, Ireland and Wigan (UK).
• Work collaboratively with IT to lead the implementation of key projects that are related to our offices.
• Help streamline processes and escalate effectively when needed.
• Ensure our office is kept in order and is a great space for our teams to be thriving in every day.

Qualifications & Experience
• 5 years’ experience as Facilities Manager or similar qualification
• Proven project managers skills
• Understanding of technology
• Communication skills
• Adaptability and pro-activity
• Sustainability mindset
• Legal knowledge
• Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
