Required Technical Skill Set
• Proficiency in using penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, and others.
• Familiarity with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Ruby, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and web applications.
• Relevant certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or GPEN (GIAC Penetration Tester) are highly desirable.

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a penetration tester or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, techniques, and tools.
• Proficiency in using penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, and others.
• Familiarity with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Ruby, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and web applications.
• Relevant certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or GPEN (GIAC Penetration Tester) are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good To Have

Experience with cloud security and familiarity with platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Knowledge of regulatory standards and frameworks such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.

Experience with social engineering techniques and red teaming exercises.

Job Summary

As a Penetration Tester, you will be responsible for simulating cyberattacks on our company's computer systems, networks, and web applications to identify and fix security vulnerabilities. You will work closely with the security team to enhance the security posture of the organization and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
