Job Description:

We are seeking a Virtual Assistant specialized in Landlord-Tenant case management with a focus on eviction procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal administration, property management, or a related field. As a Virtual Assistant, you will work remotely to support landlords in managing tenant relationships, navigating legal procedures, and facilitating eviction processes when necessary.


• Case Management: Organize and maintain case files for each tenant, including lease agreements, communication records, and any legal documents related to disputes or evictions
• Tenant Communication: Serve as a point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and resolving disputes whenever possible through effective communication and conflict resolution skills
• Eviction Process: Guide landlords through the eviction process, including issuing notices, scheduling court hearings, and... coordinating with legal counsel when required
• Legal Compliance: Ensure all eviction procedures adhere to local, state, and federal laws and regulations governing landlord-tenant relationships
• Document Preparation: Assist in drafting legal notices, eviction petitions, and other documentation necessary for the eviction process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards
• Court Representation: Coordinate court appearances and represent landlords in eviction proceedings when necessary, providing necessary documentation and testimony to support the case
• Rent Collection: Monitor rent payments, follow up on overdue payments, and initiate collection procedures when necessary, in accordance with lease agreements and legal requirements
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all interactions, transactions, and correspondence with tenants, legal representatives, and relevant authorities
• Research and Analysis: Stay updated on changes in landlord-tenant laws and regulations, conduct research on legal precedents, and provide insights and recommendations to landlords as needed
• Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to landlords, including scheduling appointments, managing emails, and coordinating with other stakeholders such as property managers, maintenance personnel, and legal professionals

• Experience: Previous experience in legal administration, property management, or a related field, with specific knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and eviction procedures preferred
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants, legal professionals, and other stakeholders
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
• Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws governing landlord-tenant relationships, particularly eviction laws and procedures
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in using digital tools and software for case management, document preparation, and communication (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite, legal case management software)
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex situations, identify potential issues, and develop effective solutions in a timely manner
• Empathy and Professionalism: Compassion and professionalism in dealing with tenants, particularly in sensitive situations such as eviction proceedings
• Time Management: Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
