For one of our trusted clients, a leader in the FMCG industry, we are looking to hire a:

Procurement Manager

Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to enhance individual and team performance.
• Set clear performance expectations, establish goals and objectives, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations to team members.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies: Analyze procurement needs across... different departments and develop comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier optimization.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery speed.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels while ensuring continuity of supply and minimizing carrying costs.
• Closely oversee and steer the raw and packaging materials coverage, ordering process and production planning process to ensure uninterrupted production process.
• Analyze packaging costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction through material optimization, process improvement, and volume leverage.
• Monitor spending patterns and identify areas for cost reduction and optimization.
• Streamline procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Risk management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement management, with a strong track record of cost reduction and process improvement.
• Experience in managing materials and scheduling activities.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (SAP), Excel
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
