About the job

As a Key Account Manager within the BeLux Retail department, you are responsible for developing and executing strategies... to drive revenue growth and strengthen relationships with our retail partners. You identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand our presence within key retail accounts, ensuring that their products are effectively positioned to meet the needs of both the retailer and the end consumer.

The KAM position requires a hunter mentality and a proven track record of doing business with key retail customers (BeLux).
• Putting your customers first: what do they find important and how can you help, relieve and grow them on behalf of your brand
• Customer Focus; solution selling within the retail environment,
• Translating trends and developments within the plant-rich food category into collaboration with retail customers
• Negotiating the yearly agreements with retail customers (Delhaize, Carrefour, Provera & Intermarché),
• Monitoring objectives and maintaining efficient records regard visits, budgets, forecast, account plans and other relevant information,
• Deliver the budget and implement our strategy in terms of growth, marketshares, profitability and other set KPI's

About the ideal candidate
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus;
• Proven experience (at least 3 years) in key account management or sales within the retail industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets and fostering client relationships;
• Fluent in Dutch, French and has a good command of English;
• Result driven and customer focused
