Job Description

Fairmont El San Juan Hotel Assistant Food and Beverage Manager oversees food and beverage operations to uphold high standards of quality, service, and marketing in order to maximize profits through exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities include coordinating and managing division projects, software and marketing initiatives, hotel and human resources communications, training, financial management, reservations, and other assigned tasks by the Director of F&B. This role may also provide coverage across various areas of the food and beverage division as needed, with a flexible shift schedule that includes mornings, evenings, weekdays, and weekends depending on business demands.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

EDUCATION & SKILLS
• Strong understanding and experience in Hotel Operations within a diverse cultural setting.
• Demonstrates a high level of motivation for achieving results; adaptable, flexible, and skilled in building relationships.
•... Effective in planning, organizing, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional in guest relations, problem-solving, and time management.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication in English.
• Familiarity with Micros system.
• Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management is a requirement.

EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of five years' experience in a related field is preferred. Prior experience in hotel restaurant management is a plus.
• Previous experience in supervising employees is necessary.
• Background in hospitality is advantageous.
