Senior Financial Accountant

One of Ireland's largest hotel operators, with a growing presence in the UK and Continental Europe are hiring a Senior Financial Accountant / Financial Controller to join their growing finance team.

Job Overview: This stunning and ambitious Hotel Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to oversee the financial operations of multiple hotels within the Dublin group. This role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy, integrity, and performance while supporting the hotel management teams in achieving their financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the financial operations of multiple hotels within the Dublin group.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for the... cluster.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls across the group.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Work closely with General Managers and department heads to drive financial performance and efficiency.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies and initiatives.
• Lead and mentor a small finance team
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing among the finance teams.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
