Blackfield Associates are currently partnered with a Consumer goods manufacturer in their search to find a QC Manager to join their team at their Facillity based in Kent.

The Quality Control Manager is responsible for managing all activities of the Analytical Department, including the Quality Control Laboratories (Chemistry & Microbiology) and the Analytical Services.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the activities of the Quality Laboratories and Analytical Services, considering resource requirements, production needs, deadlines, and priorities.
• Collect, manage, and maintain data to provide clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that communicate the QC Laboratory’s performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare Verification and Validation reports for analytical and microbiological methods, as well as other technical documents.
• Develop, maintain, and improve analytical department procedures and documentation (SOPs, records, protocols, etc.) while ensuring... compliance with GMP and applicable standards.
• Manage the Out of Specification (OOS) program for non-compliant testing, including root cause analysis, investigations, and monitoring of corrective actions.

Required Experience:
• Extensive proven experience in Quality Control or similar related and regulated industry (e.g. FMCG, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals)
• Proven experience in supervision of personnel or a relevant managerial position
• Prior experience with analytical equipment such as TOC, Gas Chromatography, Karl Fischer titration, PH meters, and Microbial detection systems
