Current opportunity: EAP Counsellor Location: Portugal Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: Hybrid or Remote depending on your proximity to our Paço de Arcos office. Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time (40 hours per week) What you will do : If you are a mental health provider that wants to provide emotional support with a warm and empathic approach to people of all ages... cultures, and backgrounds from around the world, this is the role for you. Responsibilities : Assess clients thoroughly to ensure appropriateness for short-term counselling. Assess and manage high risk calls and working closely with individuals at risk. Appropriately refer clients to external resources or within WPO as part of our holistic approach. Collaboratively develop clear and concise treatment plans for clients. Maintain clear clinical and task-oriented documentation in case management system. Qualifications/Skills : To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills: Applicants must hold qualifications in Clinical Psychology. Applicants must be members of the Portuguese Board of Psychologists. Fluent in Portuguese and English. Experience in solution focused counselling. Excellent IT and administration skills. Experience of working within a service centre environment would be advantageous. Experience working for an organisation with listening/counselling/support services would also be an advantage.
