We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Corporate Accountant role to join a growing finance team. This role offers the chance to gain experience working across accounts payable, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, while also providing crucial support to the broader finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who values learning, personal growth and building their accounting career. Their responsibilities in this role will include:
• Processing accounts payable, including invoice entry, wire and cheque disbursements.
• Executing for full cycle accounting duties including bank account reconciliations, deposits, payments and posting journal entries.
• Preparing residential mortgage advance statements and coordinating funding with lawyers.
• Preparing HST filings and corporate tax installments.
• Assisting in the preparation of accurate and timely quarterly and annual working papers and financial statements.
• Performing ad hoc tasks as required.

About You
• Appropriate undergraduate degree/diploma with 1-2 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Financial services or lending experience would be an asset.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to produce accurate and timely work.
• Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and can adapt quickly to changing priorities and different issues.
• Takes ownership of assigned tasks and is reliable, courteous and professional.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software systems.
