Junior Safety Officer – Roscommon

As a Junior Safety Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in upholding their commitment to safety, ensuring that their construction sites are not just efficient and effective, but also safe for workers and the surrounding community.

The role responsibilities will include:
• Providing health and safety training to employees
• Assisting in the preparation of reports on occurrences and providing statistical information
• Assisting in the maintenance of... safety KPIs to help drive improvement
• Assisting site management to comply with statutory safety requirements
• Assisting the Health & Safety Manager to develop and implement Risk Assessments and improvements to the Safe Systems of Work
• Contributing to accident and incident investigation

You will need:
• A full clean driver’s license
• A 3rd level qualification in Health and Safety
• To be confident, motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong time management
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Civils, drainage, or utilities (water & electricity) experience is desirable but not essential.
