Manager - Network for MNGHS-UAE

As a member of Munich Re the MedNet UAE is one of the leading managed care service organizations that caters to healthcare needs. We are currently looking to hire a "Manager - Provider Network" , the job holder will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of our medical provider network in the UAE market . This role involves building strong relationships with healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with regulations , and optimizing network performance to deliver high-quality and cost-effective healthcare services to our clients. She/he oversees the day-to-day activities within the department and leads transformation initiatives under agreed upon quality, budget and timeline . Your Job:

• Develop and drive the implementation of MedNet's Supplier Relationship Management strategy.
• Maximize the operational and commercial value of the medical provider network for the organization.
• Lead, motivate and develop subordinates for the achievement of business and cultural goals.
• Identify and empanel healthcare providers, to expand our medical network. Ensure adequate coverage across various specialties and geographic regions.
• Ensure compliance with local healthcare regulations, insurance laws, and company policies. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with network providers. Conduct regular visits and surveys, address concerns, and ensure a high level of satisfaction among network members.
• Negotiate contracts with healthcare providers, ensuring competitive pricing, service quality, and compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, customer service, claims, approvals, and production to ensure seamless coordination and support for network-related activities.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints related to the medical network. Work with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Lead the organization of chronic illness prevention/wellness programmes for clients to facilitate awareness of quality health care initiatives across the network.
• Implement quality assurance programs to monitor and improve the performance of network providers. Address quality issues promptly and work with providers to resolve them.
• Analyze network performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Implement strategies to enhance service quality, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
• Prepare regular reports on network performance, cost analysis, and Use data analytics to make informed decisions about network development and optimization.
• Ensure network-related standard operating procedures and associated work instructions are regularly updated and communicated with healthcare providers.
• Design and continuously improve a state-of-the-art provider portal. Continuously seek for improvements and new ways to leverage technology to improve operations performance (i.e. provider chatbot,...)
• Special initiatives and new models: Lead the implementation of special provider related initiatives such as the chronic refill, home delivery, teleconsultation, gate keeper arrangements, etc.
Your Profile:

• Bachelor's / Medical degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering or any related field (Medical background or demonstrated equivalent professional experience)
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a network managerial role, preferably in the following industries: hospitals, insurance companies, medical TPA.
• Skills and competencies:
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems and insurance (regulations and ecosystem)
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis, business planning and reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• People management and ability to motivate team members.
• Team player and integrity. Hands on self-starter displaying a growth mindset and "make it happen" attitude.
• Advanced computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
• Flexibility to travel within the UAE and regionally as required.
• UAE Driving license.
• Willingness to travel extensively locally and internationally.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's / Medical degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering or any related field (Medical background or demonstrated equivalent professional experience)

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a network managerial role, preferably in the following industries: hospitals, insurance companies, medical TPA.
