We are seeking a multifaceted and expert individual leader to join our team as the program lead for our suite of alternative investments (eFront) products.

As Program Manager you will apply your knowledge to some of the firm’s most strategic, sophisticated and high-valued projects. You will have the opportunity to drive scale, ensure consistency and reduce risk across the firm. This is not your traditional project management role.

We act as the “connective tissue” between the various lines of business by applying in-depth knowledge of BlackRock’s organization, processes and technology to complete change!

About the role:
• Deep expertise in the alternative investment domain and its asset classes – private equity, private debt, real estate, infra, and hedge funds.
• Expertise in the data management space – data acquisition, ingestion, transformation, distribution, consumption and data governance
• Lead large, sophisticated, multi-year projects/programs to an acceptable level of risk by balancing scope, time, cost and quality
• Coordinate the development of product definitions and roadmaps in partnership with the product management team
• Structure and handle coordinated projects and programs to achieve encouraged business results
• Run the product increment lifecycle and associated ceremonies
• Be a great partner with the senior leadership team and communicate status and issues regularly
• Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria
• Handle interactions with eFront and Aladdin Data engineering and product teams
• Mobilize and develop a team to complete project plans
• Lead business and technical design phases
• Lead teams with multiple subject area representation (especially technology, user experience, and product)
• Familiarity with Agile and Iterative Development

About you:
• 7+ years of work experience
• Ability to clearly articulate objectives and influence outcomes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in business process analysis, design, and implementation
• Experience in the alternative investment domain
• Daring and proactive – able to show initiative and come up with ideas without prompting
• Technical proficiency, understanding of technology in a business context
• Experience working with global, distributed teams across multiple cultures and time zones
• Sense of curiosity and the courage to ask tough questions
• Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or Engineering preferred)
• Ability to drive the adoption of Scaled Agile practices across global teams. Should be proficient and certified in agile at scale methodologies such as SaFE, LeSS, Nexus etc.
