Our Vision For This Role

Our Business Operations team's mission is to reduce or eliminate the cognitive burden of administrative and operational tasks from Slamcore’s people, allowing them to focus on building revolutionary technology and getting it into the hands of as many customers as possible. The Business Operations function at Slamcore covers or touches everything in the business that isn’t directly related to the technology we’re building: People (HR), Finance, Legal & Compliance, Sales & Marketing, Office Management, and Executive Support. We’re also the primary ambassadors for championing our company culture and values.

We’re looking for a brilliant, tech-savvy multi-tasker with superior attention to detail, who can help maintain order amidst the rapid changes of a growing business.

How You Will Help

No two weeks, days, or even hours will be the same, but some examples of the more ‘regular’ things you’ll be doing include:
• Managing and administering customer databases, contracts, proposals, negotiations, and billing (via our CRM system)
• Processing and managing files of NDAs and customer contracts
• Managing office operations for both our in-person office in London and our ‘virtual’ workplace for remote employees
• Acting as Slamcore’s culture and inclusion ambassador, organizing social and wellness events and initiatives
• Booking monthly international and domestic travel/accommodation to customer sites primarily in North America, Asia, and Europe, and arranging necessary visas and customs documents
• Chasing and accurately bookkeeping invoices/receipts, and administering our expense management systems
• Administering and supporting marketing efforts including social media posting, drafting and sending internal and external newsletters, and planning future marketing initiatives
• Administering accounts receivable (customer onboarding, quote and invoice issuing, purchase order management)
• Administering and managing confidential personnel files
• Preparing employee paperwork including contracts & amendments, performance review forms, reference letters, etc.
• Assisting with employee onboarding and off-boarding
• Assisting with asset & hardware tracking/bookkeeping
• Managing diaries and providing support for the CEO and Senior Leadership Team

Minimum Capabilities
• Experience using Google applications such as Gmail, Drive, Forms, Sheets, Slides & Docs
• Demonstrable high attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Keen problem-solving skills, adaptability, curiosity, and confidence to challenge the norm
• A professional multi-tasker – comfortable spinning lots of plates and organising chaos
• Enormous respect for confidentiality and sensitive information

Preferred Capabilities
• Experience with Hubspot or other CRM software
• Familiarity with Xero or other accounting software
• Knowledge of Pleo or other expense management software
• Experience with TeamTailor or other Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel
