This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Automation Engineer to join our team. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, and expertise in various manual and automated testing techniques.

Requirements Responsibilities
• Full Lifecycle Understanding: Demonstrate a solid grasp of the entire software development process, from requirements gathering to deployment, and work effectively within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Testing Methodologies: Possess a deep understanding of different testing methodologies, including unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, compatibility testing, and performance testing. Plan and execute tests accordingly.
• C++ and COBOL Knowledge: Familiarity with C++ and COBOL... applications is essential. You will be working with these technologies as part of your testing responsibilities.
• Automated Test Frameworks: Plan, develop, and deploy automated test frameworks and scripts based on a Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach. Ensure robust test coverage and maintainable test suites.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical. You should be able to translate technical concepts into clear communication for both business stakeholders and development team members.
• Requirements Tracking and Documentation: Track and fully document changes to business requirements (both functional and system-related). Clearly communicate requirements to other team members.
• Experience with Tricentis TOSCA: Prior experience with Tricentis TOSCA is a plus. Familiarity with this test automation tool will be advantageous.
• DevOps Skills: Proven DevOps skills are desirable. Collaborate effectively with DevOps teams to integrate testing processes seamlessly into the development pipeline.
• Analytical Thinking: Be flexible and think analytically in a problem-solving environment. Solve complex business process challenges related to testing.
• System Documentation: Develop and maintain system documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Independence and Direction: Work independently with minimal direction, taking ownership of testing tasks and driving them to completion.

• Prior experience in test automation and software quality assurance.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Eligibility to work in Portugal.
