Description Dow has an exciting and challenging position for an Information Systems Network Security Specialist. The Network Security Specialist works within the Information Security Services (ISS) team to build and support secure designs across Dow's network infrastructure. The individual accepting this role will provide technical expertise to manage cyber risks to the integrity... confidentiality, and the availability of Dow's electronic information assets. This position will be located in Midland, MI. Primary responsibilities include:
Defining standards and best practices that promote safe and secure delivery of I/T Systems, Applications, and Network Infrastructure. Assessing and shaping evolving capabilities such as SD-WAN, SASE, Zero Trust, and other Cloud Computing components to enable Dow's digital ambitions. Collaborating in Risk Management deliverables to ensure projects are designing sustainable and secure solutions. Helping to define governance capabilities to ensure critical network components remain in compliance with company standards and industry frameworks. Supporting Information Security during security investigations and network forensic activities. Collaborating with external security providers to ensure they are providing effective services. Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field or relevant military experience at a U.S. E6 rank or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher. A minimum of 3 years of related experience in cybersecurity with emphasis in network related technologies. Broad knowledge of current industry security standards and security frameworks. Technical expertise in security controls including access control, firewall, proxy devices, intrusion detection, security event and information management and vulnerability assessment. Excellent oral and written skills, including the ability to collaborate with industry peers and service providers. A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process. Preferred
Certifications, such as the following, are a plus but are not mandatory:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Certified Windows Security Administrator (GCWN) Certified Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA) Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Knowledge in the following areas is considered a plus:
SD-WAN Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) Zero Trust principles Virtualization such as Hyper-V, ESX Operating Systems including Windows, Unix, Linux, iOS, Android. Experience with Incident Response methodologies including threat mitigation and forensics. Note:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
