Risk Manager
Hierarchical reporting : General Manager
• General description :
You are responsible for the design and implementation of strategies allowing better monitoring and prevention against all kinds of risks of the company ATLANTIQUE MICROFINANCE RWANDA.

Description of tasks :
• Collect data, allowing the identification of internal and external risks facing the institution.
• Examine the main risk indicators and assess the consequences of the threats incurred if they materialize
• Carry out an evaluation of the measures already put in place for their management
• Propose improvement actions to make them more efficient
• It is also the responsibility of implementing new approaches to better prevent the risks that the institution may find itself facing.
• Implement a business continuity plan to prevent a business interruption from harming the company
• Take care of defining the level of each risk, so that the institution is better prepared to face it and ensure that... the risk incurred does not exceed a given security threshold.
• Identify precisely the economic, social or legal changes that may impact the activity of the institution.
• Detect anomalies and risk areas;

• Significant expertise in risk management;
• Significant knowledge of economics, finance, accounting and geopolitics;
• Mastery of different technological tools;
• Mastery of financial, organizational and ecological security standards, etc.
• Knowledge of financial risk management principles and practices
• Planning and budgeting skills
• Ability to communicate with a variety of people
• Ability to manage complex projects
• Ability to make strategic decisions
• Participation in the definition and updating of the PMRO
• Participation in defining project costs by evaluating those of Risks & Opportunities (R&O) and actions
• Animation of the R&O identification process and their treatment plan
• Support for risk and action pilots during the risk characterization exercise and associated cost
• Reporting: creation of indicators, updating and communication to project contacts
• Coordination of the various project stakeholders and guarantor of the overall vision of the project's R&O.
• Communicate key information to key stakeholders (including directors and, where applicable, the Risk and Audit Committee) on the organization's overall risk exposure (projects and operations).
• Rigor in the methodological approach and in the issuance of the various reports;
• Relational ease and ability to work in a team;
• Spirit of initiative, ability to propose constructive and valuable solutions;
• Availability and strong work capacity;

• Good managerial skills.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications
• Have at least a master's degree in Risk Management, Commerce, Management, Finance or related field with at least 4 years of experience in a similar position and must be able to speak and write French.
