Job Description:

You will be responsible for supporting international projects in various stages by providing technical assistance in geotechnical works. Initially, this role will be based in Madrid with frequent overseas travel. Following this initial phase, there will be a long-term international assignment on one of Ferrovial's ongoing international projects.

Key Accountabilities
• Plans and oversees geotechnical field explorations and soil remediation programs.
• Manages internal and external teams of experts.
•... Conducts site visits to supervise geotechnical works and construction activities.
• Reviews geotechnical data for various projects during the tendering phase, offering technical support.
• Prepares geotechnical reports for building, road, and railway projects.
• Performs soil-structure analysis, aiding in the design of foundations, tunnels, and retaining structures.
• Proficient in Plaxis 2D software for modeling and interpretation.
• Experienced in commercial geotechnical software packages like Rocs-cience, Ensoft, Geo-Studio, etc.

Skills & Experience
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5 to 10 years' experience in underground construction.
• Advanced level of English proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong analytical skills demonstrated.
• Openness to travel and relocate as needed.
