Job Description

Job Overview:Logistics, Distribution and Transportation Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing company's Logistics and Distribution operations by Maximize the process efficiency and Productivity. He also will play a crucial role in planning, implementing and monitoring company overall supply chain strategy. Responsibilities and Duties:Develops appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.Leads the supply chain (LD&T) teams in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.Lead all Factory warehouses, Distribution centers and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers.Monitors and corrects inventory levels at outside warehouses (3PL) and... internally to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.Works directly with sales department to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.Works with freight forwards and transportation companies to set best route and rate (reviews and approves all freight terms and agreements).Collaborates with procurement department to determine best practice for freight in and freight consolidation.Supports proper utilization of ERP system.responsible to routinely report on department KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary.Reviewing and updating supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, laws and regulationsLead supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience.Previous working experience (Supply Chain,Logistics,Warehouse Manager for min. 2 years).FMCG experience is a must and preferred in Food Industry.APIM Certified Production Inventory Management (CPIM).Hands on experience with supply chain management software (such as SAP,Oracle…..etc)Critical thinker and problem-solving skillsTeam playerGood time-management skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skills
