Account Executive, Enterprise New Business – Madrid, Spain

We are expanding our global footprint and are seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to spearhead the expansion of our market reach in Spain. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with an ambitious vision and mission and investing in people, tech and products. You will work with a set of enterprises, including our largest prospects and also the Named and Territory Accounts of Spain to help them become loyal customers. It’s your job to deliver the professionalism, consultation, and innovation they expect. This segmentation will allow the development of a run rate business but also explore large opportunities within the biggest potentials.

Beyond this, you’ll be incredibly creative in capitalizing on opportunities to drive revenue, adoption of new technologies, and market penetration in the enterprise space. Ultimately, you will also have a proven track record in generating and winning new business in IT sales... preferably Cyber Security. As a partner centric organization, Mimecast’s Enterprise Account Executive will be known by and connected with our loyal partner community. You’ll collaborate with other areas across the business to build a pipeline of new business opportunities, which they can successfully convert into new customers. Experience in delivering innovative partner business plans and seeing them through to success will put you in an excellent position to get this role.

What You’ll Do:
• Identify sales opportunities and the strategy
• Identify and implement strategies to sell solutions into new accounts
• Achieve monthly / quarterly / annual new business and upsell targets.
• Work with the Disti / Partner / Channel Development team to develop and execute against account plans
• Develop and execute against sales activity plans in order to achieve the agreed targets
• Build and maintain relationships with new business prospects
• Manage Business Administration by generating the reporting of the Key Performance Indicator’s* and general SFDC housekeeping
• Sign up to and execute against a set of end to end sales methodology and process
• Monitor and report on activities while providing relevant management information
• Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties, aid business, and develop organizationally
• Attend trainings and develop relevant knowledge and skills

What You’ll Bring:
• Experience and contacts within the Spanish Cyber community
• Minimum of 5 years IT or SaaS sales experience
• Successful experience with new logo acquisition and customer management – meeting and exceeding quotas in fast-paced sales environment
• Ability to take on a consultative style when presenting ideas and products
• Strong foundational knowledge of the cybersecurity industry, technology stack, and technology and security processes and ecosystems
• Experience selling through Channel partners,
• Clear understanding of Information Security, Risk and Compliance, and corporate IT teams buying processes
• Competency with customer relationship management platform Salesforce
• Solid knowledge of sales process including MEDDIC, Force Management, Challenger and Spin Sales Process
• The ability to travel approximately 50% of the time to regional meetings with prospects, customers, channel partners, ecosystem/integration partners and field marketing events
• Full language proficiency in Spanish and English
• Ideally located in Greater Madrid Metropolitan Area
• College degree required or equivalent professional experience
