A luxury hotel located on the beachfront in Camps Bay is seeking a Night Manager to join their Front Office Team. This role involves assisting guests with overnight requests and balancing accounts from the day shift. The ideal candidate will ensure excellent service, providing guests with a positive experience during their stay.

Minimum Requirements:
• Matric qualification.
• 5 years of previous experience in a similar position.
• Familiarity with all duties and procedures of the hotel environment.
• Proficiency in Opera; Opera Cloud experience is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk Night Shift Operations:
• Assist guests with the check-in process, assign rooms, issue room keys, and manage requests.
• Verify and prepare for next day's guest arrivals and departures.

Security and Guest Relations:
• Monitor hotel security cameras.
• Resolve guest complaints.
• Ensure a high level of guest services and relations to guarantee a positive experience.

End of Day Tasks:
•... Complete all end-of-day tasks.
• Audit and reconcile accounts from the day shift.
• Verify all revenue and expenses from the day shift.
• Post room charges.
• Investigate and resolve issues found on accounts.

Reporting and Communication:
• Prepare reports for the day shift and various departments.
• Ensure accuracy of room rates.
• Answer all incoming calls.
• Confirm guest information and payment methods.
