Kuru Contracting Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Chief Finance Manager to join their team in Tolaga Bay (East Coast, NZ). • You will be a person of mana and integrity who is able to inspire and build positive team culture to deliver a first-class finance service to Kuru Contracting Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
• Developing and Implementing Financial Strategies – Working closely with Directors and managers to ensure the company’s financial plans and budgets support its long-term growth and success.
• Overseeing Financial Operations and Controls – Overseeing all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
• Financial Planning and Analysis – Developing and implementing a company’s financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting and financial planning. Examine financial data to spot patterns and offer suggestions for enhancing the company’s financial performance.
• Financial Reporting – Creating and delivering precise financial reporting. Balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement. Must be able to explain financial data to directors.
• Budgeting and forecasting – Budgeting involves creating a plan for the company’s financial resources that align with the companies’ strategic goals. This includes setting revenue targets, determining expenses and estimating capital expenditures.
• Debt and equity Financing – Managing the organisation’s funding sources, including debt and equity.

Ideally you will have:
• Professional accounting qualifications.
• 5-8 Years of Experience in Accounting and or financial analysis.
• Strong leadership skills and experience effectively managing staff.
• Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners.
• Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• High developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking ability
• An excellent understanding of accounting systems. (XERO Preferably)
