As a Finance Manager, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, financial health, stability, growth, and success of the company.

We are looking for a strong and experienced Finance Manager with ACA 1 year industry PQE or ACCA with 4 years accounts preparation and month end work in industry experience.

What you’ll be working on

§ Business Process Optimization: Ensure the smooth functioning of business processes, administration, and financial management practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

§ Accounting System Maintenance: Oversee and maintain the company's accounting system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

§ Planning and Forecasting: Lead planning and forecasting activities in collaboration with business partners to align financial strategies with business objectives and company goals.

§ Financial Report Review: Regularly review financial reports to assess performance, identify trends, and provide insights for informed decision-making by senior management.

§ Financial Forecasting: Prepare and maintain financial forecasts to anticipate future trends and support strategic planning initiatives.

§ Legal Compliance Monitoring: Monitor financial details to ensure legal compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

§ Financial Analysis: Analyse revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets to identify opportunities for improvement and cost-saving measures.

§ Financial Decision Support: Assist management in making sound financial decisions by providing accurate and timely financial information, analysis, and recommendations.

§ Team Supervision: Provide leadership and supervision to finance department employees, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.

§ Profitability Improvement: Investigate and implement strategies to enhance profitability through cost optimization, revenue growth initiatives, and operational efficiency improvements.

§ Payment Processing: Review and process payments of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and procedures.

§ Record Keeping: Maintain an accurate filing and record-keeping system for all financial statements, reports, and company documents.

§ Policy and Procedure Development: Participate in the development and execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate business expansion, compliance, and scalability.

Your background
• You will have at least 4 years’ experience in ACA, 1 year industry PQE or ACCA with 4 years accounts preparation and month end work in industry experience.

Knowledge of tax/VAT would be useful (VAT jurisdictions, VAT rules, etc.

• Financial Analysis: Ability to analyze complex financial data, interpret trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Accounting Expertise: In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS) to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Financial Planning and Forecasting: Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting techniques to develop strategic financial plans aligned with organizational objectives.
• Risk Management: Understanding of financial risk factors and experience in developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets and financial integrity.
• Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and experience in ensuring compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
• Strategic Planning: Ability to contribute to the development of financial strategies and initiatives that support business growth and profitability.
• Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in using spreadsheet software for financial modelling, data analysis, and reporting purposes.
• Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with financial management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate financial information, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Leadership and Team Management: Experience in leading and managing a team of finance professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Capacity to identify financial challenges, analyse root causes, and develop innovative solutions to address issues and improve financial performance.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting, analysis, and data management.
• Adaptability and Resilience: Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and demonstrating resilience in the face of challenges.
