The opportunity:

The Senior Technical Consultant will be the owner of technical discussions and designs for new business sales engagements and for enterprise projects.

A confident and knowledgeable communicator, you will bring your expertise in the CCaaS and wider telecoms industry to help facilitate new partner relationships as well as providing in-depth technical knowledge to support the Sales Team and Channel Partners. You will ensure that the solutions proposed are aligned to the requirements of the end-customer. For larger enterprise contracts, you will also oversee the solution design, supporting the Project Manager and wider team to ensure a smooth transition to go-live. Experience of SaaS is critical, experience in all of our industry touch-points including business communications (CCaaS / UCaaS), fintech, and cyber-security.

You will be responsible for:
• Providing technical sales expertise to the sales, operations and other internal teams, and channel partners
• Ensuring... client requirements are met, often articulating with a High Level Design, and oversee the handover from sales to project delivery
• Aligned with the project manager, you will own the solution design to ensure that larger enterprise projects run as smoothly as possible
• Ensuring that technical aspects of the sales process are covered prior to contract engagement
• Preparing and presenting demonstrations to prospective clients that cover both commercial and technical elements, as well as using your expertise to field questions and create solutions
• Supporting the Sales team in completing technical input for proposal and tender submissions
• Keeping up to date with advances in the customer experience/contact centre and card payments industries.
• Owning product enhancement request for the APAC region, and liaising with the Product Management team to advise on prioritisation.
• Understanding the end-customer’s existing payment process and articulating how PCI Pal will be inserted into the workflow. Knowledge of Web Integration will be important for this task.
• Working on and building POC scenarios using the PCI Pal platform for specific partner/enterprise requirements when necessary.

We want to hear from you if you:
• Have extensive experience working in Contact Centre SaaS solutions but also have some experience in the following markets: business communications, fintech, payments and cyber security
• Are an excellent communicator with a passion for learning, able to gain knowledge quickly in a fast-moving marketplace and share this with audiences. We also expect you to confidently hold conversations with C-level stakeholders particularly in larger enterprise businesses
• Have entrepreneurial drive and highly motivated – keen to make a difference and a commitment to excellence in everything you do
• Have broad experience in contact centre environments and applications: connectivity (for example, SIP trunking), integrations (using web services), and desktop applications like CRM and ERP (e.g. Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, etc).
• Have experience with B2B software sales and projects both directly and through business partners (resellers and referral partners). Experience in larger enterprise businesses with solution designs is important.
• Have good knowledge of telephony platform providers (for example MS Teams, Mitel, Avaya, Cisco), UCaaS/CCaaS service providers (8x8, Genesys, NICE, Vonage, Talkdesk) and CPaaS (Amazon Connect, Twilio)
• Have owned Solution Designs in-project and can produce documentation in a clear and concise manner.
• Possess a good understanding of Web/API integrations and can articulate how PCI Pal is introduced to the key technical stakeholders
• Are self-motivated, passionate, and determined, with a desire to overachieve
