We are expanding our team in Romania, and we are now looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager (ISAM) for Romania and Moldova, managing authorized business partners in this territory. This is a great opportunity to take accountability for an interesting role within our sales organization!

This position is office based in Bucharest, Romania.

Axis products and solutions focus on security surveillance and remote monitoring and are based on innovative, modern, and open technology platforms. In Eastern Europe we currently have 3 offices (Warsaw, Prague and Bucharest) including over 35 employees.


The ISAM Ro+Mo will work very closely with the local and multiregional sales team to ensure that our authorized partners (AP) are aware of our strategy, products, solutions and benefits for their business, as... well as supporting them fully with their growth in Axis Channel Partner Program. The ISAM collaborates with distributors, partners and colleagues to secure growth of our business and reaching the goals. ISAM will very closely collaborate with the local Key Account Manager (KAM) and the Sales Engineers (SE).

Research, preparation and prospecting…
• Qualifying potential business partners, contacting and visiting some of them personally to evaluate their potential.
• Managing existing Authorized partners (AP) and help them grow in Axis with their customers.
• Finding new partners and grow them in long term perspective by evaluation of our sales reports or approaching active market players.
• Setting targets/KPI for our partners and evaluating performance linked to those targets.

Inspiring and supporting our partners…
• Training and inspiring our Authorized Partners, stay up to date with Axis technology and solutions.
• Be an ambassador and contact person for Authorized Partners - communicate business-technical benefits based on the partner´s individual needs.
• Collect market inputs and communicate feedback - for example webinar topics for the next period.
• Use Salesforce to evaluate and process all territory leads and to process projects from Authorized partner in close coordination with KAMs.
• Actively participates in trade shows, seminars Academies, webinars and other promotional sales activities.
• Ensure data quality of events and trainings registration confirmations or follow-up when needed.

Taking action and closing deals…
• Expected ISAM time allocation: 30% to grow actual Authorized Partners, 30% to hunt for new Authorized Partners & 40% to cover all the actual tasks connected to regular business (offers, leads processing, follow-up, etc.).
• Perform outbound calls to active and sleeping partners and help customers that requires our support.
• Visit fairs, exhibitions and important key Authorized partners and customers in the field.
• Participate in Axis Communications Academy to meet and recruit new partner.
• You will reactively handle inquiries from medium-sized end customers and find a solution integration partner.


We believe that success in this position is linked to passion for learning new things, being proactive, self-driven and with focus on team collaboration. Our expectation is that you possess experience from working within sales and customer-oriented roles, preferably from the security or IT industry. Nevertheless, you’ll need to possess great communication skills and be a sales-driven person with good analytical and people related skills, with willingness to learn and listen.

We’d love to hear that you have/are…
• At least 3 years of experience in sales role
• An openness and enthusiasm to learn more about IT, Tech and IP technology
• Open-minded, patient and service-minded towards customers and colleagues
• An attitude for bringing new ideas to improve processes and efficiency
• Romanian as a native language, very good level of English (written and verbal)
• Sales-Technical background is a strong advantage
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to travel, 20-40% of the role involves travel mainly in Romania, but for internal events also in Eastern Europe and EMEA countries
